High Street Asset Management was founded by Michael Patchitt in 2011 after a long and successful career in the financial industry.

Mike held positions at UAL Merchant Bank, Sechold and Coronation Capital where he spearheaded the creation of Coronation Securities which would later become African Harvest Securities. His last role before taking a hard-earned sabbatical in 2011 was as Joint Head of Trading for Coronation Capital.

It was over this time during a lengthy trip through Africa, that High Street was born. Having managed investments for a range of institutions and organisations over the course of his career, Mike decided that the time was right to formalise the management and growth of his own assets. Interest from several friends and colleagues looking to have their assets managed in accordance with those of his own, led Mike to launch his first pooled fund open to outside investors.

High Street has since developed into a reputable specialist asset manager offering both local and offshore funds with a strong emphasis on Rand-hedge investing.  The company manages three funds, namely a Local Balanced Fund, the Global Balanced Fund and the Wealth Warriors Fund, with the latter two being listed offshore in Dublin with local feeder fund options. The fund range is complimented with a structured product offering.
